About Quinn Clark
“So what is it you actually do?”
Why hello there! Thank you for taking your time to have a browse of my site.
Who am I? Well, that depends who you ask. In my career I have worked as a writer, researcher, poet, editor, illustrator, voice actor, performer…the list goes on and on!
I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Newcastle University in 2019, and followed it up with a Master’s degree in English Literature in 2021. Since then, I have written a children’s colouring book for Ladybird Publishing (scheduled for publication in late 2022), written for the Durham Book Festival 2021 and the Dundee Design Festival 2021, and produced a workshop and anthology for the Kindreds Creatives charity, aimed at adult survivors of CSA. At present, I am completing a poetic commission for the Tour de Moon Festival, creating a series of digital workshops for the C&T Company and working as a Production Assistant on the Herstory Festival.
As a fan of wicked wordplay and well-done puns, I’ve always sought out the nerdiest and wordiest of collaborators, as well as individuals working on passion projects which aim to make a real difference. I often work on festivals, exhibitions and commissions for museums, libraries and charities, particularly for projects concerning marginalised communities and mental health. I have also acted as a researcher and consultant for Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) and trauma therapies, of which I have personal experience.
To learn more about specific projects I have worked on, please check out the HOME and RESEARCH pages. You can learn more about the services I offer on the SERVICES page. Finally, you can get in touch with me via my CONTACT page.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to working with you!
